I am originally from Hooker in the Oklahoma Panhandle and our family moved to Amarillo in 1964. I went to Canyon schools because we lived on a farm west of Amarillo, and after a year at TWU, I came home and completed my BSN in nursing. I worked at NWTHS for 35 years in the NICU. When I knew I was ready to quit running the halls, I retired and went into business with my husband.
Jim started his career as a teacher/coach, then went into insurance with Prudential for 20 years. He knew there was more than insurance, so in 2004 he bought the chimney sweep company from a friend of ours, and he has loved every minute of the trade. I helped him to grow the company when I retired in 2016, and as a small business owner we both wear many hats. I am the Vice President, HR manager and hiring manager. Jim is big on education, and because of this we have developed a very highly trained, educated staff.
I truly enjoy being in charge of the extracurricular activities, and the fun things that bring our employees together. I also am in charge of marketing, and am considered to be our business development person.
